The first thing I posted about this movie was that "Fern Gully" and "Dances with wolves" had a baby and this is what it looked like. I was good I am fine with it, but it did not live up to the hipe. I saw it in 3D and IMAX. Not much difference except slightly better 3d in IMAX. Not worth the additional $3-$5 in ticket price. All-in-all a good movie, nothing new here. Great effects and great 3D, but not as ground-breaking as the hype stated. I agree completely with Dumblond.

And if you saw it in 3D, did you see it in IMAX? I also really enjoyed this movie but I agree with you that the CG didn't really blow me away and the story I have seen before (hellooo Ferngully) but it was well acted (Zoe Saldana is a new favorite, especially after this and Star Trek) and enjoyable. I went and saw it in 3D (not IMAX though) and really enjoyed that the 3D wasn't gimicky. It was subtle and really helped to immerse me into Pandora.
