I am also a child of the 80s, Class of '95!

I am also very unsure of a big-screen adaptation of the A-Team.

After seeing the trailer, I am more enthusiastic about seeing the movie. Liam Neeson looked great and you gotta love Hannibal's catchphrase! The movie looks well cast... Can't wait to see Howlin' Mad Murdock in the film. I hope the District 9 guy lives up to the work done by Dwight Schultz. I would love to see Schultz in a cameo, maybe as a fellow mental ward patient when they break out Murdock??? That would be cool!

The real question is does B.A. Barracus say "I pity the fool!" or is that copyrighted by Mr. T?

Ho.Ly.CRAP! Wasn't that the best trailer ever?! I almost peed my pants!
I loved A-Team so much as a kid. I was very wary about a modern day movie but this trailer has gotten me so excited! But with movie studios tendencies to spoil the heck out of movies with multiple trailers (can we say Wolverine?) I do not want to see another trailer until I see the movie...and I am soooo going!
Now I'm off to see if I can find my brothers A-Team van...

My thoughts exactly. I'm just a few years older than you but 70-80's TV and movies defined my childhood. I can't stand it when remakes are done that parody what was supposed to be comedic yet dramatic TV.
I saw the A-Team trailer yesterday and I almost got goosebumps. I want this movie to set the right tone. I want it to take itself seriously yet keep the comedic moments in. The beauty of the original was that the entire family could watch it. (Well maybe except for those families who thought it was too violent. What would they think of today's TV!?) I want to be able to take my kids to this one. Please don't make it dark, too violent, or fill it up with sex. Face was the ladies man but we don't need to see it on screen. The trailer looks promising and I think they might have actually done it right. Only time will tell.
