For me the last half hour to 45 minutes saved this movie. It was beginning to run on a bit and get a little stale. There were too many cringe worthy moments thanks to the "twins" also. Better than "Terminator Salvation" but not as good as Star Trek. This movie is making money hand over fist but I'm not ready to hand it the crown as best movie of the summer. Will it be Harry Potter?

Skids and Mudflap are not illiterate, the only refference to them not being able to read is when they are trying to read the ancient language of the primes. I cant read latin but that doesnt mean I can't read at all.

I agree that there are a lot of flaws in the flick and that sometimes... it doesn't really matter. It has a lot of fun and this time around I really felt that Optimus Prime was everything he used to be in the animated version.
Thanks for the great review, sir.
